Girl, Interrupted

In-line with Mental Health Month, our movie of the month is: Girl Interrupted. The film opens a door that lets its viewers to explore mental health from a perspective other than our personal views.  It allows room to question mental health, while allowing the audience to really connect with our own state of mind. The film is based on a memoir by Susanna Kayen about her stay at a mental institution. We think Winona Ryder plays the young woman with borderline personality opposite Angelina Jolie as the manipulative, rebellious and abusive character, a role she plays very well. Not new, but worth a view.  Here the trailer.
